Introducing the “Nancy”...
The inspiration
The Nancy diamond pendant represents romance, admiration and everlasting love.
The exquisite 2 carat, cushion-cut, fancy-yellow diamond at the centre of the piece was a fiftieth birthday present from the devoted and loving husband of our very own resident ray of sunshine, Deb!
In a heartfelt gesture, Deb has dedicated the pendant to her late aunty "Nancy".
It was a candid conversation, during which Nancy shared anecdotes from her inspirational life, that made it apparent to Deb; the name of this extraordinary woman was perfectly suited to be applied to an equally remarkable piece of jewellery.

The creation
Deb is notorious for completing all her outfits with her beloved strand of warm-coloured South Sea pearls. The graduated strand of large gold pearls glows with various shades of cream, light amber and soft pink. You've likely seen her wearing this impressive accessory if you've visited us in our Dunsborough showroom any time over the last fifteen years!
Thus, it was no surprise to us that she wanted to enhance said lustrous strand by adding a crown jewel!
"As I am lucky enough to attend some sparkly events, I thought it would be fitting to design my diamond as an 'Enhancer' to wear with my strand of pearls." - Deb.
Perfection takes time... and perhaps that is why it took more than two years for Deb to finalise her design. I think we can all agree that this dazzling creation was well worth the wait!
The masterpiece
The "Nancy" pendant is chic and versatile. Rather than being suspended by a regular bail, it has a catch that can clip over a thick cable or chain, without the need for a clasp to fit through it. This enables the enhancer to be worn with, or without, the pearls.
This complex and striking piece of jewellery features an extraordinary collection of unusual diamond shapes:
- The feature stone, providing superior sparkles, is an impressive, GIA-certified, VS2, cushion-cut diamond (a shape often synonymous with royalty!) with remarkable brilliance.
- Then, contributing flair and finesse, are two unique, fancy-cut white diamonds; a trapezoid, and a tapered baguette.
- To all of this we add a generous glittering of 27 round 6-7P Argyle pink diamonds and 57 small round white diamonds!
The colours of these natural diamonds, together with the yellow and white gold, echo the tones found in Deb's golden pearls, while the soft angles of the pendant's design complement the curvaceous ocean-treasures perfectly.
The Nancy is a distinctive custom design that showcases how fantastic different cuts and colours of diamonds can look when set together!
